His developmental strides all along since being sworn on May 29th,
2015 have been people oriented and focused on the key areas of need for the Akwa Ibom People. Some of these Include the revivng of some moribund industries in the state, Youth involvement in governance, education, employment generation and above all the mental reorientation of the good sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom with the Dakkada campaign.

Governor Udom addresses the people of AKS |
As opposed to his opponent Umana Okon Umana who has been a part of the government for several years in one form of service or the other, Udom Emmanuel is more of a technocrat than a politician. He was general manager of Zenith bank Plc and has always offered the people of Akwa Ibom a clear cut manifesto. Umana on the other hand has always vented his bitter rivalry and opposition to his former boss of about years without giving the people a clear cut agenda of leadership.. Congratulations Sir.

Meanwhile Okezie Ikpeazu's victory has engendered mixed reactions among Abians. Many have argued that as an active part of the previous administration who drained the state of its resources and robbed it of development it would have been preferable to let a neutral person such as Alex Otti take over government and bring about speedy development to the people.
What ever the grievances may be, the supreme court is supreme and all its decisions are binding.
Congratulations Udom and Ikpeazu.
